There is a very rare chance of division by zero in bicor.m during the optimization process, which causes calcmode.m to terminate prematurely. The problem can be circumvented by using a different value of initRand, which chooses a different series of random initial weights.
Please replace bicor.m (downloaded before 27 Jan., 2008) with this new version.
